Welcome to the 4th grade! We are going to be doing a lot of fun and interesting
activites thoroughout the school year. In Science we will be doing a lot of fun projects, we will do a unit in Social
Studies where you will dress up and protray a famous Missourian, in Math you will be learning how to divide. It is going
to be a GREAT year. I am very excited to meet everyone!

Don't forget, Venterans Day is on Sunday we will be having a assembly on Friday Novemeber 9, 2007 in the gym. We will
have serveral guest speakers. Parents are welcome to attend. The assembly will start at 1:30 pm. As always, everyone should
be on their best behavior.
Your Social Studies presentation will start on Thursday of next week. We will be going
over our projects in class throughout the week to make sure everyone is prepared.

Student of the Month
The student of the month for Novemeber is Walker Salyers.
Walker was noimated by his classmates for being a good friend. Walker is the first one to help a classmate whether it
be in the classroom or on the bus Walker is always lending a helping hand. Walker is a polite young man and most of all has
a great sense of humor. When a classmate is having a bad day Walker is always there trying to cheer him or her up.
Walker is now in the running for student of the year.
